About Chuck

Chuck holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Walden University, where he also completed his dissertation on Adolescent Substance Abuse. He works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families on a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, anger management, ADHD, drugs and alcohol, issues related to the legal system and mood disorders. Chuck uses several types of therapy to deal with different issues but generally tends to subscribe to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy (RT) and Brief Solution Focus Therapy (BSFT). These therapies deal with the here and now, while challenging clients to think more in depth about what they need help with and how to help themselves. Chuck has experience as a behavioral interventionist at an alternative school program for grades 1 thru 12, responding to crises that occur in the classrooms. When not seeing clients, Chuck spends his time with his wife, 2 boys, and daughter.
